Welcome! I'm a newbie too, also starting out with 9mm. I'm in southwest Ohio, near Cincinnati.

Re: Hello from Ohio
Welcome from Washington State. New with a Loadmaster, you've taken on quite an assignment. I've had several, RD still has several I believe so plenty of help from others here as well. My best advice for now is to run just one case at a time, ONE AT A TIME. Learn how the press operates and the "feel" it has. Then maybe a couple at a time, you have a lot to watch for when running full progressive so take your time getting there. Good luck.

Welcome from Arizona. Right to a Loadmaster?? Brave person. You'll be OK.
Forum Boss RD is a LM Guru, & pretty much the same for Horseman.
I'm sure there are other LM folks on here, these are just the 2 off the
top of my head..

Re: Hello from Ohio
Thanks to all for the welcome. So far I have loaded about 450 rounds and test fired about 20 of those with no issues. I have found some of the same issues that some of the people have mentioned and addressed them. I have the billet die holder from MIKESBENCH and it works very well except the last 3 rounds will be about .003 shorter than the rest. Installed an led light under the case plate at the powder die and a light to check powder at the seat die. I also modified a #6 shell plate to use with 9mm brass to position the case correctly for the primer insert. I am not sure if that was necessary as I install the primers under the case expander die. I ran 200 rounds the last time and only missed one primer and I think that was because I let the primer case get near empty before adding more primers.
