Auto Disk and 4198. Any chance?
Has anyone tried metering imr 4198 in an auto disc powder measurer? If so how were your results?

I've used it, more specifically Hodgdon H4198. With the single disk you will be limited to somewhere around a 20-grain charge and with the double disk, twice that depending on the actual VMD of your lot of powder. If you are filling the largest of the cavities or the using the double disk, Give the ram a pause and the top of the stroke so that it can fill.

well I just ran 25 charges through using my modified adjustable charge bar that were all 19.9 or 20.0. then oddly it through six charges in a row at 19.6. a sharp taps on the hopper made the next ten throw at 19.9 to 20.0 again.
Ill call this a viable option.Ill just tap it after every charge.
