Been doing this, and tumbling, for ten hours now. Had a huge stock of range brass, but no loadable cases.
Must be about:
2000 .38spl
2500 .45Auto
1500 .44-40

Fyodor, I have a turret head with only a decapper on it. I wash all the dirt off the brass with Dawn dish detergent in a tumbler basket and dry it. Then I dump it in the case feeder.Fyodor wrote:[BBvideo 560,340][/BBvideo]

The four way case kicker speeds up that process incredibly. And the drilled out turret, that doesn't index.

More like unloading. Nothing like the firm smack of a 1911 to clear a bit of the fog. Ran a selection of my 1911s mostly with remans I buy at the range.

Re: What Handgun Reloading Did You Do Today?
Just finished a little session with the .45 auto stuff .... loaded another 50 round test batch of the RimRock 230 gr RN with 8.2 gr of AA#5. Then finished off by priming 300 pre-prepped pieces of brass to be ready for the next chance I get to re-load.

Re: What Handgun Reloading Did You Do Today?
I may have to forfeit my "Boolit Caster" card, but I ran across some Hornady 240 gr. XTP bullets in my component cabinet and loaded them over a light (starting ) load of Universal. I prefer lighter loads for my 629 and normally use a 240-250 LSWC loaded light in it (it has an "unpinned" barrel and since I got it back from being repaired at the factory, I keep the loads down)...
