Hello from North Florida
Getting ready to start reloading and everything I hear recommends starting with a Lee single stage , so here I am looking for advice and knowledge.

Welcome to the sand box.
I don't recommend a single stage press instead I recommend the Lee Classic Turret press. The beauty of the Classic Turret is it can be used several ways, an auto indexing turret, a manual turret and a single stage and the really cool thing is you don't have to change the dies once set. All you have to do for new dies is buy a cheap turret head for it.

Welcome, I agree with a turret press for its versatility. I still think a single stage is good to have. I started on single stage and am still useing. Though I do not shoot much more than 300 rounds a month. If that at times.62chevy wrote:Welcome to the sand box.

Herzlich willkommen from Germany!
A single stage is good to start with, but the classic turret (classic is important, don't go for the three hole high base old design turret deluxe) can be used as a single stage, but boosts your reloading speed when you got some confidence without all the itches of a progressive.

Welcome to the forum
I ditto the 4 turret classic. If you are near a Cabela's, sometimes they have a special on the Lee Classic Turret Press Kit. The first thing you may want to upgrade is the scale.
Good luck & enjoy

I plan on loading 9mm, 45 ACP, and .223. I have been gathering brass for awhile. Me and my family shoot weekly so based on me math it won't take long for the return on equipment to wash. I enjoy garage time so my time is not a consideration.

I'm slow and do close to 100 rounds of 45 acp an hour on the Classic Turret.
