Hello from Western Canada.

Post by Wescan »

Thanks for inviting me to your community.
I've been bitten by the 45-70 bug and consequently returning to the world of reloading after a 20 year hiatus.
Previously, I was single stage Lee and 45ACP. I have now created a steeper learning curve with a Lee Classic Cast turret press.
For your info, the cheapest I could find this in Canada was 270.00 in the kit form. That doesn't include 13% in additional taxes for a total of 305.00.
Not complaining, just thought some of you folks might be interested in what things go for in a foreign country.

If and when, I am able to contribute something worthwhile I will surely do so.

Sincerely, Wescan

That's still OK of a price, the cheapest I could find in Germany would equal over 370.- CAD for the set.

Hey from West Virginia.

That's not a bad price I had to pay 265 shipped with the 45 acp 3 dies set. That was almost 2 years ago too.

Greetings from Ohio. I've visited Western Canada a few times, and my wife and I have driven the ALCAN. It's beautiful country :-)

I also upgraded from a single stage to a Classic Cast Turret Press. I found mine on Amazon Prime.

Welcome and thanks for the price check! As a comparison for the others the Lee Classic Turret Kit at MidwayUSA is $210. The difference is a pretty good whack.

Is there any reloading equipment manufactured in Canada, just curious? What about Germany?

Thanks for the greetings folks!
Ranchdog, to the best of my knowledge their are no reloading manufacturers in Canada.
We are thankful for the opportunity to acquire reloading tools from our brothers to the South though!
Unfortunately components are verboten to ship from USA to Canadian residents.
