Proud new owner of new Load Master.
Friend of mine, with limited patience, sent me new LM
saying he was tired of messing with it &, "Here it is, you own it!!"
Now the fun begins, everything I hear & another friend
all say they "Don't" prime on the LM because the priming system is
such a nasty thing?? To me, that sort of defeats the purpose
of "Progressive"???? I might end up just like them but first,
I am gonna work with the stock system & see what happens,
If that does not work out, I'll try Magic Mikes stuff.
I am anxious, This thing is great, I wish I had the engineering
brains to figure stuff like this out, this thing is neat...
Wish me luck...

I use Loadmasters a, and prime off the press. After learning first hand all the benefits of priming off the press, I will never go back to on press priming. Turret press, single stage press, Dillon 1050, Hornady LNL, none of them, I will never prime on press again.

Hearding cats??? LOL OK.. No, I don't want to prime or de-prime on press, I just want to
see if I can get it to work, after that, off press only & after the explosion, it's
RCBS bench mount priming for me.

This is worth quoting for a second time!
An ignorant person is one who doesn't know what you have just found out.
When setting a job up for myself it must be Idiot Proof as well, as I am a bigger idiot than most people I know, and I prove it to myself everyday.

It is a pun of sorts meaning you'll never ever truly move the cats into an area as they have their own idea of what and where they go. Literally if you try to heard 2 or 3 cats you will see the intended meaning to this. It's a never ending battle is the simple explanation.

Re: Proud new owner of new Load Master.
I have only run 1 batch of 45 Colts on my 2nd hand LM but out side of finding the "flow" I didn't have any issues with it that I didn't attribute to no manual, blind set up bugs. It might have something to do with mechanics being my long suit and being willing to split adjustments until it runs like I thought it should have.
2 cats I can't get them in the same room much less get them going the same direction.
