I really enjoy shooting my Savage 10 FCM Scout but the series was discontinued at the end of 2013. I just noticed that for 2015, Savage is introducing the 11 Scout. It offers a couple of changes that were the customers were critical of. Mainly, the magazine capacity and the lack of a threaded barrel. The 10 FCM was offered in both 308 Win and 7.62x39. The 11 Scout is only being offered in 308 Win.
Got to say I've put this on my 2015 buy list.

Yes but most are 4 round mags from Savage and I don't understand why.

Re: Savage 11 Scout
The 4 round magazine is to comply with several locations that have 5 round maximum capacity hunting regulations and a grandfather "habit" from 1903 or so.
