Yes, one dedicated pro1000, just for that cartridge. I planned to get one of the new 2018 version, but didn't have the money to order one, yet. It actually works quite fast, 250 rds/hr is a good pace I can comfortably hold for a few hours. Interestingly 44/40 loads faster than .38spl, even if the collator doesn't work with 44-40.

Dang I wish I'd read this yesterday. I just ordered the linkage parts! On the other hand it doesn't hurt to have the spare parts on hand.

I've always adjusted by screwing the combo rifle powder die/AD down till it's "tab" is about 1/16" from touching the housing. By marking the housing with a black marker and or leaving out the drum when setting up the measure it is obvious when the drum is rotating perfectly. Of course the appropriate case needs to be used to actuate the mechanism for this method to work.

I think my iPhone might have some mayo on the lens. My pics are bad, likely why RD praised my casting.

I'm surprised it doesn't work, the case feeder.

The feeder works perfectly. The clear plastic tubes are just a little bit too small. The cases slide through the tubes about half of the length, but need a push every few inches. That's more cumbersome than placing them individually.

I see that now looking at the SAAMI drawing, case rim diameter is .525". I've loaded 44 Mag on the Load-Master, been a while, and could tell that was it as far as falling through the tubes. The 44 Mag rim diameter is .514".

Actually yesterday, 100 rnds of 45 Colt 50 with a locally cast 200 gr RNFP and 50 with a Berry platted 200 gr HP. Both with 7.5 gr of Titegroup, not my favorite powder but the ladders indicated this might work. Now some range time is needed.
