New guy from Kentucky
Really started taking an interest in reloading about a year ago.. All I have right now is a. Lee Loader in .45-70 and have loaded hundreds of cartridges with it and it's neat and simple but I'm ready to step up the game a bit and have started getting some new tools to get ready for my new press that hopefully Santa clause is bringing. Nothing fancy, a single stage breechlock but I'm excited and got my bench set up and ready to go. I just found this forum the other day but I'm sure You guys will help me out on any questions I may have. Nice to meet y'all.. Go CATS!!!

You're on a slippery slope sir, beware. The "guys" here will lead you further down into the handloading abyss. But you've now been warned so Welcome to this "retched hive of scum and villainy".

Re: New guy from Kentucky
welcome Melman71
my take on it is to buy the bare necessities (whatever that might be) in reloading tools, then be prepared to spend the big bucks on all the components you can afford to lay hands on.
you may end up like quite a few of us and find you think more about the reloading than the shooting

Welcome aboard !!! I also started with the Lee Loader last year but the Wife didn't like all the pounding so she forced me to buy a Turret Press from Lee.
