I saw a YouTube video on using a 303 Brit Lee collet die for 54R it sized half the neck That might be a good thing. I have been using Lee FL sizing die set with a 1/16 allen wrench between the die and the shell holder. It does not reform the shoulder and leaves a 1/16" of the neck unsized. They shoot better like this i don't know if its that the shoulder is fire formed or if its the bumped up part of the neck giving me better shell alignment or both. Years a go i read a write up on using a Lee 308 Win Lee neck sizing die for 54R. 54R cases are a little longer than 308 cases so what Mark did was put a washer over the shell case and it rest on the shell holder as a spacer. Has anyone used a 308 or 303 collet die on 54R cases and if so how did it work for you?
Mike

Howdy Mike. Well, I can't speak to that myself but,
a real good guy & handloader I used to know swears by them.
He was into all sort's of old mill sup, I know for sure
he used them on 303 British & recommended them highly.
Good luck Mike.

I don't know either 1 will work the x54R has a fatter head/base. Maybe a 300 WSM would work.
