Thanks Steve, I've just started using the collet dies for a couple of cartridge and never thought of lubing them. New project for this week!

Glad somebody can use the info. I thought about posting it and the pictures in the dies category. Can it be moved to that section for people in the future trying to find info on the collet dies? Or would it be simpler for me to repost it?Ranch Dog wrote:Thanks Steve, I've just started using the collet dies for a couple of cartridge and never thought of lubing them. New project for this week!

Re: Press mounted bullet puller???
I contacted LEE on the press mounted bullet puller from the video.
They never produced this item, and they can't (or don't want to) give me more information than we already know from the video.

Re: Press mounted bullet puller???
Just a update on the surfaces I showed to lubricate. I have polished those same surfaces on one of my dies with valve grinding compound using a Dremmel felt polishing wheel. Worked pretty good, I'm sure a grinder in a machine shop would be a lot more accurate. I can now do more cases before lubricating again.
