.375 Whelen anyone shooting one ?

Post by Missionary »

Greetings
Some time back I bought a 375 Whelen from JES Reboring which is sitting up north there waiting for our return. If you have any info on that caliber especially with cast bullets of 270 grains and heavier I would appreciate any guidence you can pass on.
If you shoot a 35 Whelen with heavy cast that info would probably be similar. Thanks !

No experience with it Mike but your mention of JES just happens to catch me pondering the purchase of this Savage 170 that he has rebored/chambered to 38-55 Win. I owned a 170 chambered in 35 Remington, a very nice "working man's" rifle and I have a Rossi Rio Grande that he did the work on from 30-30 Win to 38-55 Win.
