Introduction
Introduction
I am beekeeper,
That is the job I held after retiring from the Navy after 25 years.
I started reloading with a lee loader in 1962 when as a sailor I was lucky to afford a Lee Loader.
Was given a RCBS jr press by an old friend and used it to form 7MM Mauser and 8MM Mauser brass from milspec 30-06 as in those days it was free for the picking on any Military Range.
Shot Military rifle match and used a Lee Loader to load the ammo when Milspec ammo was not required.
Still have the RCBSjr press as well as a Lee Classic Cast.
All dies are :Lee wit the exception of the RCBS forming (trim ) dies.
Had RCBS 7MM ,8MM and 308 dies given to me a couple of years ago. They sit all lonely in my die drawer
I build all of my own rifles and make custom fishing rods when a family member wants one.
Since returning to reloading I have shot cast only and have found no reason to change

Re: Introduction
Welcome beekeeper! The product branding seems pretty strong in us that started with the simple Lee Loader!

Re: Introduction
Don't forget the price RD. If I had to buy Redding or Dillon I wouldn't be able to reload.

Re: Introduction
Very true. Lee keeps it affordable for the low volume shooter to enjoy reloading as a hobby in itself.62chevy wrote:Don't forget the price RD. If I had to buy Redding or Dillon I wouldn't be able to reload.
