Here is one of my reloads for 9mm. How did I do?

No harm. no powder or primer. Just testing seating the bullet and didn't pay attention to back out the adjustment screw. Big Ooops.

I think maybe it would be a tad compressed. It takes little practice to get used to dialing it in. Glad you were running a test round instead of a live one but either way you can dismantle andmaybe salvage.

When I first installed my .38spl dies the first test round looked about the same. Sorry for the bullet.

Igniting the primer should knock it out! Just kidding!

Now for the most important tool after the press itself, the kinetic bullet puller!

Yes, with jacketed you can do that. But lead bullets get damaged and can't be reloaded, or at least that's what I got told. Haven't tried it.

I don't reuse lead boolits, just toss 'em in the casting pot for next time.

Now that I got my seating die calibrated (and very familiar with the kinetic bullet hammer) I can work on getting the powder dropped properly. This could be FUN! +guns

Lol that's too funny, because I did the exact same thing the first time I tried to dial in the seating die lol. I didn't think that from the factory the height adjustment would be so low!
