Re: Press lubrication
I used the dry lube to lube the Rugers for my pistol class. They got used Saturday with much sucess. I flushed the pistols out good with break cleaner before lubing them with the dry lube. Followed up with a oil wipe down of the outside of them so they won't rust.
Won't be using it on the press in the computer room because of the over spray. I will just stick with brushing on a little synthetic gear lube. Wipe it off when I'm done loading so it won't drip or colect dust.

Re: Press lubrication
The next time I have a lot to deprime on LM1 in the shop I will use the dry lube. At the range I think we have a few containers of approximately 3,000 forty S&W cases each. I will bring one of them home, clean and decap them with the ram lubricated with the dry lube.akuser47 wrote:Yes I degrease before I ever apply been very pleased so far i would love to hear from high volume loaders on this.
I will keep a close check on how the ram is doing is doing on that run. The synthetic gear lube makes it through that amount, but if the dry lube would at least hold for a thousand I will switch. Most users won't need that much run time so I will note when it fails and post it hear. Probably be next week.

Re: Press lubrication
Sounds good I would love to see how it holds up to this kind of use. I am pleased with every use thus far but it has to have some limits I have yet to incounter.

Re: Press lubrication
Nope that can work but it displaces to fast. We are talking about liqiud wrench dry lube spray it has cerflon in it that bonds to material and holds up even better.

Re: Press lubrication
It is liqiud at first when sprayed the cerflon in it bonds to metal and other material on contact. It leaves a dry whitish residue Dries fast and is slick and lasts
