A 1" long - 1/4 x 20tpi machine bolt welded on top of the valve rod
1-x 1-1/4 diameter steel rod x 1-1/4" long
Drilled and tapped 1 /4x20 the end of rod for screwing to the bolt
Drilled and tapped 2 holes in side of rod
Used 3/4" copper couplings filled with lead and drilled 1/4" hole
so they could be bolted to side holes in rod . Eliminates using
screwdriver to twist the valve rod and adds about 2 lbs weight
to the valve rod.
