Hello from Pennsylvaia

My name is George and I have been reloading since the 80s. Up to now I have been using a Hornady AP for pistol (mostly 45 acp) and a rock chucker for rifle. The Hornady AP has been and still is a great press and has never given me any problems.

I decided to dedicate the Hornady progressive to only 45 acp so I picked up a Lee Loadmaster last month to use for my other pistol reloading. After reading some reviews I was a little skeptical but I have to say it is a great press. After a little polishing and adjusting it has been flawless for the first 500 rounds. No primer problems and accurate powder drops. And all at a great price. Paid about $270 for a 45 LC setup. This thing is the best kept secret around. After one week I ordered more turrets and shell plated for the other pistol calibers I load.

Welcome .

I didn't care for the LM not that it wasn't satisfying to run it was just not a tool for me I guess it required a cleaning regimen that didn't fit well with my location and set up I guess . I've never really been a white room guy .

Maybe after a few thousand more rounds my initial opinion will change. Since I only use it for calibers I don't reload as often it works for me. The quick caliber changes and low cost for each caliber just makes sense for me. My Hornady AP will always be my workhorse. It just keeps pumping out 45 acp year after year with no issues
