New guy here. I signed on because I'd recently purchased some new Lee equipment and have no idea why some of the changes were made. Hopefully I can mine the past posts here and figure it out!

Thanks for letting me join
Jim

What? Changes made to equipment that are unexplained!!! Kinda like the cinnamon flavored honey at the grocery store that used to be on the bottom shelf and now is found on the shelf at eye level.

A beancounter said they could .03more cents from each purchase if this "simple and uncomplicated design change" is now sold.

Welcome

Thanks guys!

Rimrock, I suspect you're right. I don't have to like it though! I've been using a Lee Auto-Prime since. . . forever. If you maintain them, they're usually good for ~150k primings. My last one finally died, and after trying the "improved" tool, I threw it in the trash and found a few used Auto-Primes. I should be set for a couple more decades now.
