How to Best Store a Reloading Press ?

Post by rp2pilot »

For those of you that use a quick mount system with multiple presses, what's the best way to store the press when it's not mounted? Seems silly, but I have a Lyman Universal Mount and have both the Loadmaster and the Auto Breech Lock Pro. Right now, the Loadmaster is lying on its side on a shelf, but not sure if that's best. Any thoughts?

In a perfect world wrapped in vaper barrier paper gently lubed . As long as its reasonably dry and reasonably stable temperature , the lube on the rams will take care of them for 6-9 months .

Vertical or horizontal won't matter although they take up less space standing .

It seems to me that a shelf with additional bench mounts would be the best solution.
