If you were starting over, but had all your knowledge. Would you dry tumble, sonic clean or wet tumble?

I would be wet tumbling just as I do now. I"d like to think that the changes I've made to my "repertoire" over the years has been a progressive improvement towards an intended goal...... :geek:

The dry tumble method with a Lyman turbo vibrator has always worked satisfactorily for me.

How do you wet tumble without pins? Is it just water, detergent and lemishine? After watching several video's about wet tumbling. It sure looks to me that the pins create a lot of extra work. Maybe for really dirty, range brass thats been on the range for months. Even then it seems you would have to clean them, decap them and then tumble with the pins.
Thanks for the reply

Thanks for the reply's guys. So it appears it is split about 50/50 between wet and dry methods. I imagine that percentage will hold up across the majority of reloaders. This activity is already getting expensive even with just the loadmaster and two additional sets of dies. Plus the extra equipment to trim ect. Then add the supplies also. So I did not want to have to buy more equipment than I really needed. That was what was behind the question.

Stay with dry tumble with some juice added. I can wet/pin tumble if needed, but very seldom required and a pain, imo.

Dry tumble in a rotary. In my experiences, for me the other methods are too messy, too labor intensive and/or just marginally better (if any) than my corn cob blast media with 10% hard resin media.
