New / Old Lyman 9 mm Luger Dies

Post by reloader762 »

Well I bought a set of Lyman AA dies this week online in 9 mm, they are brand new and have never been use and are still coated in the original preservative. The die set only came with the TC seater stem but thats fine as that what I cast and shoot in my 9 mm handgun all the time. It also has the Lyman M Die expander which I also have in my 38 /357 & 45 ACP Lyman dies. I gave $35 for this set I had been watching on eBay for several days.

I had a Lee 9 mm 4 die set along with about 250 plated bullets but I gave those to a friend at work that reloads and wanted to start reloading 9 mm but was cash strapped after a battle with cancer.

Anyway I'm going to take them apart and give them a good cleaning tomorrow.

That's a good price for as new .
Looks like steel dies , if you're lubing on a roll pad do all of the first 20 then skip one every 5 .
I don't think you can stick a 380 or a 9mm but you can feel them under lubed .

The resizing die is actually a Tungsten Carbide die so no lube is required, I ran so cases through it yesterday and it was smooth as silk.
