Saturday I rearranged my daughter's room twice, just go be where I was.

My big girl wanted to have her old bed in our daughter's room, in case the grannies want to stay overnight or we need to be with our little girl.

So I hauled the pieces from the basement, three stories up. Disassembled or moved each and every piece of furniture in the room, assembled the bed... and found out my girlfriend can't use a folding ruler. She was off by nearly half a meter ( 3/2 feet). So I disassembled the bed again, moved everything back where it was before, and took the big parts back, three stories down into our basement.

5 hours of work, and nothing changed...

I got the beam wrapped and corner bead on it . Most of the holes are filled in and covered which means all of the electric is done in the main living room . Kitchen outlets what the ............devil were they thinking in 65' ? Them and the hack and chop since ......... nevermind . No grounded lines anywhere . So lots of new wire to pull . Working out though freed up a breaker and ditched an appliance that freed up 2 more . Sometimes it seems like I just chase my tail for hours and then there's an hour or 2 that just sings and it feels like it was really good and productive .

It's always a challenge to undo. When you know what you're doing and how it's supposed to be done it's difficult to short out someone else's "fix".

Actually it was very professionally done in 1965 and in line with standards of the day . The whole house is wired with 12/2 , not 12/2 with a ground . Except the water heater and former double oven which were pulled in 10/3 but again no ground . It's not a big deal it's just that it's not standard anymore and when they changed 2 prong outlets to 3 they didn't add grounds .

Today was a little bit like Christmas . We unloaded the truck I brought out last November . I found the Ruger soon to be Schofield Cylinder and a spare 1860 cylinder . A milk crate full of obsidian and about $200 worth of parts stuff I don't need to buy for the house that I need as we progress . I can't tell you how happy I am to see the rest of the cast iron .

Poor truck . I had to change a tire that blew out sitting at Mom's house . I couldn't pick up the right front with a 1.5 ton floor jack . I had to lift the body then the axle ........ 15 ammo cans of brass and cast bullets .
Probably close to a ton there just in that .

Former UHaul truck .
F350 commercial , 7.3 diesel .
Door tag says 12,000 GVW , 5,600 empty but I'm pretty sure that wasn't with the 12' box . In any I'm also sure that I had about every oz of the 12,000# on it as it rides almost on farm truck suspension and was stock F150 city slicker hight . I've got most of the setting too long bugs out of it now it's about time for another edition "what can go wrong on a road trip 101" . It needs more tire or longer gears and more fuel .

Butcher duty today . The step son whacked this guy with Model 97' Ford Expedition .
Buck was the only damage . Nice 4×4 looks like about 75# in the freezer . We just took the backstrap , hams , shoulders , and neck out of the hide and off the bones . The gut was split so I didn't open any of that up .
