i live since 2012 in Ca,
i was born in Mannheim/Germany and i am an German nativ,
before i moved to the US i use to live in Biblis, (Hessen)

I was raised in Großsachsen, near Weinheim, and went to university in Mannheim.
CA would not be my favorite US location, but for some years I tried to move over, too. Now that I have a little daughter, priorities have changed a bit. But it's not forgotten, just put aside for a while.

well, long story short,
i never had the plan to leave Germany, but in 2010 i was visiting one of my best friends in California and i met my now wife,
after 1 1/2 years of traveling back and forward (6 weeks BRD 4 weeks US, lucky me, i worked for Lufthansa)
i applied for the green card and in December 2012 i moved to California,
and for sure i don`t miss the winter time in Germany
