I just read that Richard Lee passed away on Sept 22.

On a personal note, my Father, the inventor of the “Lee Loader” and more than 30 other patented reloading products recently passed away. Without Dad, I wouldn’t be here, and reloading your own ammunition would have been an expensive hobby for a wealthy few.

Oh, very sad to hear... RIP

This news hurts. He was an amazing innovator, inventor and a personal hero of mine. I got to talk to him on 2 occasions about a problem I was having with a sizing die and later about the LM. He was immideatly helpful, likable and friendly during both calls.

The pioneer and innovator for the things we love has headed to the best benches and shooting ranges.

Very sad news.

What a life he lived. The eulogy is really interesting. A well lived life for sure. He was a great inventor and realized the simple solution is usually the best solution. I am so grateful he invented the Lee loader and kept his business going and growing. Very sad that he has passed, but God bless him and his family. A gift to our country and to all of us.

A great example of a successful businessman who gave good value for money through innovation and ingenuity. Hopefully Lee Precision will continue his legacy and not be gobbled up, gutted and then the bones sold overseas by one of those rapacious investment companies.
