No , they claim 10 gr of Unique for the 303 , Krag , x54 and 06' family . Mine is too enthusiastic or the rifles aren't receptive to it 8.5- 9 makes them click .

I have read Harris's article several times but just haven't found a need to try the "load". I have found Trail Boss very useful for cast in the same calibres though.

Ed Harris is the gentleman who wrote it. The first time it written for Red Dot then modified to Unique the final iteration was for 2400. I've cut and pasted it on this site. Ed is also the same guy who came up with Ed's Red and written several gun rag articles and designed a few bullet molds. He is still posting on the CBA forum.

I loaded some .30WCF at 10 gr Unique and a few at 11 just because ..... I need a use for it other than fertilizer.

Have a Long Branch 303 I've never shot. and recently picked up a Siamese Mauser in 30-40...
Been readin the Innernet for Cast data...There is a bunch out there...
