Good to know. Thanks.
PS Sort of looking at a Bersa Thunder Pro UC 9mm now. But still need to get one in my hands first.

Have owned several Taurus hand guns, all revolvers. have not had a single
issue except for bad triggers which are easily slicked up. Taurus has come a long
way since the old days in the early 70's when they were "Pot Metal wonders"
& security guards loved 'em because they looked like a Smith, & A 4" 38 Spec
could be had NIB for about $35.00. Like I said, they have come a long way.
I only have one left now, it has been claimed by my wife, a little 605
357 Mag 2 1/4" barrel. Just sold a 608 polished nickle 4" 357 8 shot, real sweet gun
just to heavy, & a 85, 38 spec 2". I get a ton of Taurus wheel guns for trigger work,
They are very popular. I am glad to read about them changing there parts policy,
it sure was aggravating searching for used parts on E-Bay, especially that blasted
little firing pin spring.

I got a Taurus revolver from J&G sales that had been, let's say, well used. I immediately gave it to Larryw, the above poster, to take a look at. What I got back was Magical. Not only did the gun look brand new but Bright sights paint was added, Trigger pull significantly reduced and at a cost that was extremely affordable. Now I'd better admit Larry and I are old shooting buddies. I'm glad you found this site Larry!

My favorite was a 65 Apache fleetside with a 409 & 3 on the tree.
after going through 2, three speeds, I opened up the hole in the floor
& in went the 4 speed. Man did that make the 409 come alive.
I don't think there was anything that truck couldn't pull or haul.

I've been highjacked but I don't mind. Have a good reunion and a Merry Christmas.
