The only loaded 7.55x55 I've seen is burdan primed. So I do reload for it. I can't tell any difference between the Lee dies and Redding's. It's just a remarkable rifle.

Lee dies are fine. I have mine backed off and just slightly push back the shoulder. When pushing home the bolt it has to be done sharply to ensure proper lock-up. Kinda the same as my pump Remington. OAL has to be carefully watched for the K31 but the published info apparently is okay for the 1896/11 or the 1911 which have more throat. The GP11 bullet is pretty long with its ogive quite away down on the bullet. Getting some .308 bullets off the lands in the K31 means deeper seating. This is where the comparator really shines. I use PRVI brass which is boxer primed.

I've had good results with the Lee C309-200-R. Never shot any copper condom bullets in it.
