Ben's LL Recipe with Lundmark Substitute

Google "Ben's Liquid Lube," it's a very good Alox mix. I've started running my pistol bullets through my lube sizer because I'm using the bullet feeders on my Load Masters, but I use stick alox from White Label Lubes.

From what I have read, Johnsons Liquid wax isn't being mad ec and was never available in Canada. This is listed as the second ingredient in BLL.

I still like my 60/40 mix of mineral spirits and LLA. I don't cast, but I shoot a lot of cast bullets .... I tumble them in my own 60/40 regardless of whether they have been pre-lubed or not. Works for me.

GG, does the alox coating of regular lubed bullets keep the lube dry for extended storage? Sometimes I'll cast, size, and lube a bunch but not use them for quite a while, depending on what I'm shooting it may be a couple years before I get to them (I have some excellent RD 265 gr, 44 cal bullets lubed with Speed Green that I boxed up 4 years ago and the lube may be getting dry)...

I've only Ben doing it for a year or two so I have no idea.

I read 18 pages on the Art and Science page on the BLL post. Search turned up nothing else. I didn't see a substitute. Interesting reading but I must be missing it. I get the ove-rlubing groove lube with tumble lube though. Good day when you learn something new.

The Johnson's Paste Wax is still being made. I don't remember where or when, but I read sometime ago
that it is the same formulation as the liquid only in paste form. I purchased the Johnson's paste wax about a year ago and followed an easy instruction on "melting" it to a liquid (being careful not to get it too hot too quickly or too near a flame-it's flammable).
I then made up a batch of the stuff and whoopee!! Same results as when I used the J liquid wax for lubing.
