What do you look at?
Here's a question fer the fellers (and gals if any). I scan through the sub forums and only read what I am interested in or have experience with. I'm not a progressive press user, I don't use "automatic" powder measures, and there's a few others I couldn't contribute to if I tried. I very rarely go in any "Show us your ___" threads. I hit the Topic Bucket every time there is anew post. So, what do the members here do the most? Open every sub forum? Just look in one or two sub forums?

Kinda read it all. I am a curious sort and you never know what you can learn from a post till you read it. I read the "Hunting" stuff for vicarious pleasure as I seldom get out in the field anymore. I try not to get jealous lol.

Re: What do you look at?
I use the "show unread" function and browse through all threads. It's not that much anyway, and if I can't contribute or not interested, I just close the window again.

Re: What do you look at?
I read most everything, but I am only truly interested in my realm of use. Which is primarily single stage. I talk about getting a turret, but I think I will stay with what I know. I read and try and learn. I catch new ideas, and items I never knew existed are shown to me and sometimes surprise me. You got to love it.

Same as Fyodor. Do that on every forum I visit, it is amazing what I've learned.Fyodor wrote:I use the "show unread" function and browse through all threads. It's not that much anyway, and if I can't contribute or not interested, I just close the window again.

Re: What do you look at?
I do this on all the forums I visit daily. If it's a place I rarely go there's no point, I'm usually there for a specific reason.Fyodor wrote:I use the "show unread" function and browse through all threads. Re: What do you look at?
I do the same as Fyrdor , RD and Gas .
I have 6 regular forums that I visit and 1 of them does some 1800-2000 new posts per day having some 35,000 members and 500-1000 regulars . The other 4 like here have 15-20 regulars and maybe that many more bi-weeklies .

Re: What do you look at?
I have set this and other sites links to view "NEW POST". Primarily interested in reloading and casting info unless the subject pertains to a gun I own. For the most part I find most sites are full of crap as far as I'm concerned. I love finding new ideas, methods and post on new reloading/casting gadgets. I admit being a sucker for topics about dogs also.
