Like most powders, Unique isn't at it's best with light loads, faster powders are good for that. As for metering, yep not so hot, and I often "dip and trickle" my Unique loads. My 38 Special Unique loads are generally closer to max than min with 158s or 160s. For anything lighter I use a lot of W231. I used 4.5 gr. Unique in my 124 JHP 9mm loads with good results (From my LC9s, the bullets penetrated 3 1 gal. water jugs and entered, but not exited the 4th. For got my chrony that day though)...

As stated I plan on using it in .45ACP.

I'll probably burn it all failing then right before I'm out I'll find a use for it but powder won't be legal to buy any longer.
