Starting to reload 380. For a Bersa and ruger lcp. Does any one have any advice or preference on
The Lee 95 or 102 cast bullet.I use factory loads for carry purposes but for range practice that gets $$$$.
I already cast and load 9mm and 45acp

I use the Lee 95 and powder coat it. Sized to .357 it will not work in all brass. Win, Fed and RP are all fine.
I load all those that don't fit with jacketed and loose them in the grass.

I'm using the 356-102-R. With my current alloy it drops at about 107 and 357 dia. Pan lubed with Emmerts and pushed with True Blue the wife P238 has no complaints.

I use the Lee 95 grain pill too but with 45/45/10 sized to .357. Worked great with no leading but the next batch will be powder coated.

Why are you switching to PC IF THE 45/45/10 is working? It's easier to apply and less hassle.

It also gums up the seating die and smokes like black powder. Plus the new way to PC by shack dump in a basket cook for 20 minutes is less time than than tumble and let dry for 2 days and they are still a bit sticky. And you have to tumble lube twice, lube size lube with the Lee sizer.

None of the three ways I can lube bullets would be considered easy.

Easiest is tumble lube but I don't like TL molded bullets as much and they're messy.

Making lube for traditional bullets is a pain. Buying it is too costly.

Push through dies after the pain of pan lubing is a hassle and a big mess. Pan lubing and sizing 100 pistol bullets takes me two hours spread over three days. That doesn't factor making lube.

RCBS Lub-A-Matic produces best bullets but takes forever. I use it only for GCd bullets because of the time investment.

I have four kids under 14 years of age so I may have less time than others. I also might be "doing it wrong".

I hate painting more than I do casting or lubing. I've been using Ben's Liquid Lube recipe and love it. Dries harder than LIquid Alox. In prep for getting my Load-Masters up and running this fall and winter, I've even tried bullets through the bullet feeder. Dusted with mica, they are slick as snot but don't stick.

My favorite 380 Auto bullet, my TL358-100-RF.

That is a good looking bullet.

The bullet I am shooting in the .380 is a 100 gr RNFP made by Two Alpha Bullets. Coated, clean shooting, don't remember the cost, but it was reasonable the last time I bought.
