I bought my 4500 second hand without instructions. I tried it the way it made sense and got good results so I never looked them up online. I do it like the first paragraph only I stick the Hornady style check on the bullet then put the bullet nose up in the machine. Down and back and they turn out like this NOE 180 .360" that was lubed, sized to .3585", and GCd in one step.

This looks OK right (except lube in the lower crimp groove)?

Yeah, it looks good to me. You cannot avoid the lube on what's left of the GC shank. That's a freebie.

...and the brass will squeeze the lube out of the lower crimp groove above the lube band.

that projectile really needs to be adequately tested (at least 500 rounds) by the average shooter/re-loader in order to verify it's worthiness. I just happen to know an average shooter/re-loader that would be willing to carry out some testing. The 500 count samples can be sent to:

Mr Average Shooter (aka mr surveyor)
General Delivery
Stumpwater, Texas

The post office knows where I live .... I mean where Mr Average Shooter lives. They'll find me ... I mean they'll find him.

just trying to help :)

I doubt I have 500 made but pay shipping and I'll send some. The lube and lead is nearly free. The GCs were $0.03 each :)

Still too darned hot in the shop end of the garage to do any casting. Early mornings are reserved for watering the veggie garden and other yard work.

:D
