I've been asked a couple times about how the forum is doing financially so I thought I would provide an update. Donations continue to come it, not at the rate that the initial call brought, but they still continue. With the donations that we have received, we are funded through the end of summer. In that many households are working with Federal and possibly State taxes right now and given what I have related above, there just is no need to put any additional financial pressure on our members. Come May, I will start beating the drum again and if we get within 90 days of running out of funds, I will be pressing harder.

All this said, if you would like to donate to the forum, I durn sure will accept it at any time.

Wish some more people would cut loose with a few bucks to insure this forum will continue in operation. It's better than a news paper, and cheaper.

Agreed, an online family like this is hard to find and many here are exactly that. I'd hate to see it lost.

Great work team we have made the goal for the forum cost this year so RD isn't paying out of pocket for it. Thank you all so much that helped make the goal happen, and to those that help make both sites a great resource that they have become.

es, thank everyone for supporting the forum! We have met the goal that I had set and I also have had some opportunities to minimize our expenses without compromising the service we expect so we are in great shape as we head into the next year. I will have a full report on the health of this forum in the next few weeks. The forum is still accepting donations and any balance over our current expenses will be carried forward in support of our expenses next year.
