Oh and you can shoot everything from mouse sneeze to full battle loads with the 556.
But some idjit Georgia congress woman said there are no sporting purposes for an AR15! She's part of the guv'mint, so she gotta be smart'n me don't she?

Here's my conundrum: I have .223/5.56 cases by the 5 gallon bucketful, no doubt. And I know I can download the .223 to the low velocities desireable for squirrels, no problem. But some where in the back of my head this little voice pops up and is letting me know I will be better off with a small case for the really small cat sneeze loads. I just have a sneaking suspicion that I'll find the right combination in a single cartridge. One .22 K hornet downloaded with Lilgun and one 223/5.56 uploaded heavy w/speer or other bad for tumblingl

Now that you've gotten one, what's your take on the V surgery?

I'm glad I had it done. After talking W/ all my buddies that have had it done, it seems I just had bad luck. All of theirs went smoothly.

Not sure how I missed your gallstones problem, I'll put you on my prayer list.

My Wife had gallstones and the Dr finally removed her gallbladder. Took over a year because she keep getting pancreatitis.

I have Handi's in both 223 and hornet. Both shoot great with cast and the hornady 55 grain fmj's and sp.
I have only had 2 stones. The first started at 6 am and was over at 2 pm. The second lasted a month. There was pain only when it moved. It would occur every 3 or 4 days, and last for 1 to 2 minutes each time, but the pain was intense. Pray for a fast passing.

If you choose a powder like Unique or Red Dot there won't be ..... likely that is... any issue with the case size . The 223/556 guns are rated at 62 kpsi so for CIP they have to proof at at least 93 kpsi . So if you put a 4 buck pellet or even a 55gr RCBS in it you could probably quad charge the case and not hurt anything. I went under 4.0 Unique in a 6.8 to get a 150 gr cast to go subsonic at 5.0 in a 222 the 50 gr Bator was still over 2000 fps if you would like I can back the 222 down with the Bator and Red Dot to see if it will go that slow. I'm thinking it would be down around 2 gr .

Wow a rifle load that gives 2000 loads per lb of powder ......

This is good info on the very roots of smokeless cat sneeze loads .
There is a link in the 1st post but it is pulled into the 2nd post . It is rather long but filled with what to and not to do things .

Met with the urologist today and apparently I'm going to get surgery if it doesn't pass before next week. Not sure how I feel about surgery, but I do know I'd like to be relieved of this brutal pain.
