I built one for my pot. When I finally decided to take it off and go back to the old way, I became successful again. Sold it for a lot more than I had in it. I won't go back. Never considered one for my PC oven. To each his own.

also built mine and enjoyed the experience
using it in the original Pro-Melt
if I don't throw the spures back in will hold to within 1-2° for the entire casting session
