I wonder if the blow back action of the high point will drop chamber pressure faster than a locking breach.

With low pressure cartridge I'm not sure there is much difference. By the time the brass releases its grip on the chamber walls the barrel unlocks.

I'm reasonably sure I have one. If not, I'll have to buy one. But I will likely need one for .for my Remington 1858's I need to cast some bullets for. It will be .458" or so I think. If Lee don't make it, will have to mod a .452" version.
