Now after you have a conversation with E.T. on it see how well it monitors bullets speeds . Looks really high tech and plus it's orange my favorite color.

Re: Labradar... I got to be out of my mind!
We had heavy thunderstorms today so I didn't get to use it. I went up to the range during a break in the weather and set it up. Nothing to it with after running through the setup menu on the bench, Set it on the shooting bench and push two buttons and it is active and ready to go. You got to shoot though and the weather started again so I threw everything in the Mule and hauled butt back down to the house. Maybe tomorrow.

Re: Labradar... I got to be out of my mind!
Had a few minutes at the end of my day and despite some Tstorms building up, I grabbed everything and headed up to the range. I wanted to shoot my Savage 170B chambered in 35 Rem with my TLC359-190-RF. It literally took less than 60 seconds to setup the Labradar and a shot was out. Nothing to it. The sixty seconds was to turn it on and enter the bullet weight.
It got very windy and dark but the radar didn't care. It recorded all the shots, three at 25 yards and four at 50!
Notice in the detail that I have it setup to record additional velocities, in this case it captured 5, 25, & 50 yards. With my cast bullet work I have struggled to record actual BCs determined by velocities recorded at two points, not a problem now!
I had sighted in the rifle with the Speer #2435 180-grain flat nose but wanted to get my TLC359-190-RF out of it and it did very well. I will go ahead and load up for an inventory run now and shoot the rifle at 100 & 200 yards.
At 50 yards it slung a bullet but something was not right with the shot. It was the low ball in velocity but it even sounded funny. I had loaded this ammo real quick so no telling. These were my re-baked bullets.

A 200 fps drop at 50 yards that is good info to have. I'd say the radar was worth the wait.

How much did you pay in total?
I guess until it's available in Europe will be another ten years... Radiation and stuff...

That's pretty cool, and now with that it will be so easy to know what your loads are doing and are not. Without the headache of the old chrony.
