Central now just outside Waterville. I'm a "County Boy" myself, grew up in Presque Isle.davestarbuck wrote:Hi from Florida, but I grew up in Houlton up in the county, what part of Maine are you in?
"Welcome to you from the other side of the country. Always wanted to see Maine, figured it must look a bit like the Pacific NW."
Horseman, it does a little bit, PacNW has always been a "need to see" destination for me, my goal is in a couple years the BMWMOA International Rally will be held in Oregon or Washington, so I'll get a nice two week Motorcycle trip out of it.

Maine's cold weather should allow you to have plenty of time to reload for use in the warmer seasons.
Welcome from PA. almost as cold

Re: Greetings from Maine
Even this South Texan likes Maine! I've been up there several times poking around. Spent a lot of money over a lot of years trying to draw a non-resident moose permit. Finally gave up. Wanted to hunt big moose in the lower 48 but just got over it.
