6 inches in last 6 hrs. and still snowing! Got 150miles to go tonight w/5th wheel, tomorrow east river deer opener. Supposedly less snow at destination, I hope that is correct. These conditions can prove excellent by my past experience. Confident that I will be able to fill tag. Any deer tag hopefully antlers. I hope I can figure out how to post pics to follow up.

Good luck! If you can't figure out the pictures, I will get them posted. Nothing like an opening day morning!

Good luck!

Over here we had about 6 inches of rain within the same time... no traces of anything to be seen.

Well I am going to have my grandchildren help me get pics here soon. Sat AM 1\2hr.before sunrise 7:05 our time, first deer on ground at 7:08, total 4 whitetail bucks by 7:30AM. Public hunting area about 900aces. Had 6 tags to fill should have had all that morning. I got mine Sun.AM, another buck smallest 4x4 about 115+. Granddaughter still has tag to fill, have to go back. First 4 are all 130 or better, lots of fun and smiles. My grandson's girlfriend got first deer, her first ever, then my son, then two grandsons.

Sounds like a great time! Looking forward to the pictures!

I'm going to move this from the "Topic Bucket" to the "Hunting" forum.
