New member intro
Greetings from Clarksville,Tn.
I was looking for an easier way to reload my 9mm w/o the full systems most use and discovered LeeLoader. Purpose is to have a way to reload on the fly, bug-out etc.
Wish Lee had a loader for .22...

Welcome to the forum.
There is a 22 kit out there but you can still buy even at the high prices now upwards of 30,000 rds for the cost of the kit.

Re: New member intro
a few years ago, I started my reloading addiction with the Lee Loaders ... the 9mm and the .38/.357 kits. That first year, I forced myself to use nothing but the Lee Loaders so I could develop good brass management (actually looking at and feeling the brass at every step) and get a good feel for how things fit together. I probably loaded somewhere between 600-800 of the .38's and .357' combined with the "hammer", but gave up on the 9's at only a couple hundred rounds. I never could seem to properly flare the brass for cast or plated bullets, which was what was intended to make the "system" economically feasible. Jacketed were no problem, but the proper flare for cast without losing case tension was elusive. I found that the hand press and dies are no more cumbersome than the Classic Loader and mallet.

JD, in most cases when using the Loader with cast bullets a custom flaring tool is needed. Lee does offer these.

yeah, and I had the one for .357 .... which seemed to open things a bit too much on the 9mm.
