Do do it walk away.......

Did that help ?

I always thought it would be pretty cool to have set a bbl bake or rebbl a 450 Marlin 336 in 460 S&W even if I only shot it like a 45-60-200 or to use standard belted mag brass and add a long 28 ga extended extra full wad lock choke . All the thrill and throttle of a big bore thumper in 460 while having the luxury of 45 ACP (cowboy think of it as an auto rim with a Colts rim) and 410 2 1/2 in shot shells .

Dening the call at present.

My Rossi 92 chambered in 480 Ruger is one of my better punkin chunkers! Back around 2000 Marlin announced the 475 Linebaugh/480 Ruger in a 1895, even made the catalog, but the gun never made it to production. Personally, I thought the 1895 would be too heavy a rifle for the short cartridge.

I'm eyeballing this rifle right now: http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=5501571

It will fit perfectly beside my 66 replica chambered in .38spl, and will fill up my last available slot for a rifle in my safe :(.

Wish ya luck in your bidding. Is that new in the box or used? I was able to tell it was a reproduction 1873 Winchester but not condition.

It's not mint, but as new and practically unused. But it's completely "boogied", which means all the running parts by " Shotgun Boogie" are already in the. He's "the" gunsmith when it comes to tuning guns for cowboy action shooting, you might even think there's no action in this rifle at all, it's running so smooth. The running alone is nearly worth that money. I really hope I win this bid, having a new rifle tuned up like that would cost about twice or more.

I finally got what I think will be my jacketed load for the Henry 45 Colt. It chronographs at 1220 fps, SD was only 8. 240 grain Sierra JHC over 20 grain IMR 4227. Loading them on a single stage press. First time I used a Lyman M die. I like it. The single stage is just fine for these loads, with a brass but plate I feel the recoil enough that I know I won't be shooting many of them.

When cronographing the loads I was aiming at a target at 30 yards. This load just made 1 raged hole. I loaded a few more to check for accuracy, but I think they will be ok. Maximum I plan on shooting this is 100 yards. I'm gonna call this my isis load.
