Bullet stop
I have only had a pile of dirt to set targets on before. I made a 8ft wide 5ft deep 6ft front to back box out of old highline poles. Made a frame to hang some old conveyor belting on to staple my targets to and just added the old dirt. Works great. I use old dog food bags for targets. They are weather proof and masking tape over holes make them like new again.

are you planning to eventually "mine" the lead?
I've thought about building something similar with one of the sides being fairly easy to remove so as to be able to rake the fill dirt out for screening out the bullet nuggets.

The berm looks similar to I did. Do you have a front end loader for the dirt work? I framed it in with treated fence posts and then hung bull panel on snap links. I hand cardboard to the panels with clothespins and tape targets to the cardboard.

My grandson and I had just finished hanging a new panel and steel target. He is in the Mule. The panels last a long time. When I hang targets, I consider the wire spacing.daboone wrote:How is it there doesn't appear to be one broken wire on that panel

I used a 400 Farmall with loader to put dirt in. If I was still in my 20's or 30's I would of done it by hand with a shovel but I'm older and wiser now.

There is a 1/2 inch thick steel chicken sitting on chair too. Been hit so many times it looks like its got toad skin
