Sending my prayers that beekeeper has a successful surgery and a full recovery today.

OK Surgery over.
Had a real bad time of it.
Am at home finally.
Right side 80% blocked.Surgery supposed to take 1 1/2 hours took 3 1/2 hours.
Family did not think I would come out of the anesthesia, neither did recovery nurse.
Me, I am just glad to be able to even be here.

Dr estimates 6 months before able to shoot again

Hopefully all that is in the past now (I hope)

I ditto that!

Anesthesia is both a good and bad thing. It's great for pain and to keep you from moving during of the procedure. The side effects vary greatly from person to person. I'm glad you are recovery was, all be it prolonged, successful. It left a bad taste in my mouth for a mouth or 2 after my bypass.

That 6 months of additional recovery time may seem like a long time however it is a better choice of being bed ridden from another stroke for the rest of your life. In the mean time I bet you get your man cave cleaned and put in tip top shape during the down time.
