Three hole turret on Classic Turret Press???
Could this be done? There are times I don't need the fourth station and it's just a useless swing of the arm. It's not like it's difficult but I am just curious if a three hole turret could be made to auto index through.

Re: Three hole turret on Classic Turret Press???
Lee makes and sells a 3 and 4 hole turrets based on the Lee Pro 1000 frame. I don't think they make a 3 hole turret that will fit the Lee Classic presses however. One could possibly make it work but would require a different indexing rod and the top piece that holds the turret machined to fit the 3 hole. Now that would assume the dies line up with the shell holder perfectly. Now that is perhaps another question that I don't know the answer too however.

Take a look at the parts in the kit that convert a 3 to a 4 hole press and then go to the 3 hole press parts and order the same items but for the 3. Don't forget that you will need the turrets as well. Might be cheaper to buy another press.
