I really hope that someday soon we in Ohio can use rifles for deer in certain areas. I have some property outside of town overun with deer and really would enjoy taking them at distance with Long distance plan through remington 700 in .308.

I hear ya buddy. I was expecting to hunt deer with lever actions in Ohio this year, but as of right now looks like that won't be the case.

I would love to be able to use my 92 to take a buck or a few doe. I think it should at least be exclusions for calibers like the .357mag in my 92 or a 45LC or .44 mag. I understand their reasons I mean if you have ever hunted killdear plains in hardin county that is nuts during pheasent season good lord I would scare up a bird and all down the field over 100 yards away people are shooting at it. Imagine if this was the case with high power rifles. This is where pistol caliber rifle will shine!
