I saw it in the NRA ad. I like the idea of adding a powder check die. So vested in my Load-Masters though and with my shooting way down, I think that is where I'm staying.

Re: New Six Station Pro 6000 (Six Pack) Press
I no longer own any progressive presses so if I were to unpack my reloading gear and renew the hobby, providing components, read affordable primers, are once more to reappear I would be very interested in this offering. Primes at bottom of stroke, perhaps Lee has finally adopted a cup and spring system for primer containment while seating. That would be a big improvement from previous offerings of the "frog on a post" type. Like most others that are interested can't wait to see one in the flesh....I do like the solid head design ala Hornady. No "wiggle" or "slop" from a turret or die plate should make for very good OAL and runout. Hopefully the shell plate will be very a very solid platform as well. Interested to see how Lee has set up the indexing system on this new press. Maybe a "locking" pin up through the shell plate would be nice. Hmmmm,,

Hm... quick change dies, but individually. Annoying, when you need to change regularly.
Does anyone know of it is technologically closer to the pro1000 or to the LoadMaster?

Looks interesting. Guess that's why the loadmaster was discontinued.
From Lee:
After 30 years of production, the Load-Master Progressive Press is going to legacy status. All of the Load-Master specific parts (shell plates, primer feed, etc.) will continue to be produced.

I am "old"......
I've been out "cleaning" my shop up, rearranging things. You know, moving stuff from one side to another and cleaning as you go and putting things back from where you left them after last use to where they should be. Going to open up a couple of the containers I have my reloading things in, mostly my presses, hoping I don't find any rust on them and everything "wintered" well out there. My shop is 30' deep x 60' wide with 5 bays, so will take a couple days to work my way back to those. Perhaps tomorrow will get me there.
As to the Pro 6000 I'm anxiously waiting to get a "real" look at one. Soon I hope, at my age not sure how much time I have left to wait.......

Link to a video discussing the advantages of having more than five stations in a progressive press.
