As some of you know I have not loaded in over 30 years and just recently got back into it and purchase the cam lock Pro. Once I got the press and myself thinking right I put together 25 rounds of 45 ACP to take to the range and test out. The brass is mixed the bullets are 230 grain Sierra Full Metal Jacket. The powder is Winchester 231 + 15 other rounds are 4.6 grains and 10 of the rounds are 4.7 grains. The primers are federal large pistol. I would have preferred CCI primers because they're what I used in days gone by but was unable to get any at the time. Overall cartridge length
to 1.26.
After I put together those loads and having had trouble priming on the Press I decided it was because the mix brass when I got looking at it was pretty poor and there were several cases I believe we're probably military and have been crimped at the primer pocket. I decided just to Decap all the mixed brass I had and I will clean up the primer pockets and put a slight bevel on them before I go on with that batch of brass.
