When I got my first Loadmaster I was told a few people had broken the carrier when tightening the case feeder. I saw mine flex when I tightened it so I made a brace for it. This is a duplicate I made for Loadmaster #2. Makes it pretty sturdy. Now I can really tighten up the case feeder without worry of breaking the carrier.
It is made of oak.
1 piece ½ x 3/8 x 2-5/8
1 piece ½ x 5/8 x 1-3/4
2 4-40 socket head screws and nuts
Got it bolted to the web then drilled the 1/4" hole.

It's a good idea, I never really liked how that arm was stuck out there. I may make one out of STARBOARD HD Plastic instead of Oak. I have some Grey and Black scrap left over from another project.

Your plastic would look a lot more profesional than my wood. I build radio control airplanes so I have wood around to work with. Hope you put a picture in if you do it.44vaquero wrote:It's a good idea, I never really liked how that arm was stuck out there. I may make one out of STARBOARD HD Plastic instead of Oak.
