Nice shooting RD.
I dont have anything in 303 British, yet.
Just lately took an interest in the cartridge, been reading up on it, and the mil surp rifles.
May pick up a lee hand loader kit, just to put back, while they are still bring made.

At times the rifle/cartridge has made me insane, but the three of us seem to be reaching some level of agreement as to who is on charge.

This scout is a fantastic rifle, I'm very proud of it. I'm settled on the bullet, going to stick with jacketed over cast. Same with powder and charge. I am going to try topping the powder with a 1.6-grain drop of BPI Buffer on top to bring the compression to 100%. I want to see if the is any difference with or without it.

I moved the Lee Collet die to the Challenger press, and the sized case feeds perfectly. Something is going on within the die when used on the Classic Turret. Yes, it is being adjusted exactly per the instructions for the LCT. Same story with the 300 Savage.

I will compare the Collet sized loads against those sized with the Lee Loader.

The combo dumped another last night at a quarter to 10 under a feeder with a Boar Light on it. 85-yards through the eyeball and out the back of its head.

I didn't bother with a picture as it was late and I was tired. the SMLE Scout drilled another last night. Now, I really need to let the other rifles participate as they are not happy with me playing with a favorite.

nice shootin there Tex....

i do notice with my lee turret classic, there is a bit of slop... it is related to the turrets themselves. they seem to move a bit. i always figured it was the price you pay when you want quick change ability.
