Hey guys,
I just happened to stumble upon the news about Hornady's reloading app that came out recently. I am curious whether anyone here has checked it out. Just wondering if its something you guys like to use, instead of just the paper book version of their handbook.
For one thing I am a newbie to reloading, and I'm beginning to gather ideas on digital resources for the hobby.
thank you for your time!
Adam

I'll go look for it , the Sierra book required a purchase .
I like books but like so many that have done this in the long game I have old stock and sometimes shoot cartridges that haven't been available for decades and new sources just don't have that data available .

Re: new Hornady reloading app for Apple/Android
I have both the sierra app and the hornady manual on the kindle. They are both a little clutsy. However they do get the job done and don't occupy shelf spaced. The Hornady displays pages just like the hard copy. In the case of the Sierra they have this velocity slider that you use to adjust the muzzle speed after you pick your cartridge and bullet. And there are some inconsistencies.

Wheels, is there a subscription involved with either one of those, or
is it a straight out purchase for the Kindle?

Straight purchase for the Kindle product, I have both Hornady and Lyman 50 that way. The Sierra app is a subscription. It was pretty cheap as I recall.larryw wrote:Wheels, is there a subscription involved with either one of those, or
